Hi! My name is Dylan Baboth-Toth, and I’m a Sales and Service Representative at Trevor Capra’s Desjardins Insurance Agent’s Office in Hamilton, ON, where we provide home, auto, commercial, and Life & Living Benefits insurance. I was born and raised in Hamilton/Ancaster, and I now live with my girlfriend Alexis in Paris, Ontario. I’ve been in the insurance industry for over 10 years, with a strong passion for the field thanks to my father, a former high-level executive. I began working summers at his company while in high school and university, which shaped my path forward. I graduated from McMaster University in 2012 with an Honours degree in Sociology and a minor in History, followed by completing the Insurance Program at Mohawk College in 2014. My professional journey has included roles at Canada Loyal (2014–2018) and RBC Insurance (2018–2020) as a Licensed Insurance Advisor. I’ve been proudly working with Desjardins ever since, helping clients make confident, informed decisions about their insurance needs.

How does the work you do support families with
special needs dependents?

The work I do supports families with special needs dependents, as I am licensed to sell Life and Living Benefits products. Clients can access a wide array of solutions to ensure their special needs dependents are cared for in the event of their death, a critical illness, or an inability to work due to a disability.

I was inspired to become an SNF Ambassador by my father, Rob Baboth. Witnessing the incredible work he and his company do to support families with special needs dependants motivated me to get involved. SNF offers highly specialized services that address a critical gap for families navigating complex financial, legal, and government systems. Their process is streamlined, their advice is expert, and their compassion is genuine. I truly believe SNF makes a lasting difference in the lives of families, and I’m proud to help extend that impact.
