Meet Dylan Baboth-Toth: Supporting Families with Special Needs Through Expertise & Compassion

Can you share a bit about yourself so we can get to know you before we jump right in?

Hi! My name is Dylan Baboth-Toth and I work as a Sales and Service Representative for Trevor Capra’s Desjardins  Insurance Agent’s Office in Hamilton, ON. We sell home, auto, commercial and Life & Living Benefits Insurnace. I was born and raised in Hamilton/Ancaster and me and I now live with my girlfriend Alexis in Paris!

So now that we have gotten to know you personally, can you share a bit about your background?

So, I’ve been in the Insurnace Insdustry for over 10 years. I’ve always had a keen interest in the Insurnace industry as my Dad was a high level executive for years! I worked with him at his company during summers when I was in high school and university. I graduated from McMaster University in 2012 with an Honours degree in Sociology and a minor in History. I then attended Mohawk College and completed their insurance program in 2014. I then worked at Canada Loyal from 2014-2018 straight out of school. Then I was a Licenced Insurance Advisor at RBC Insurnace from 2018-2020. And I’ve been at Desjardins ever since!

How does the work you do support families with special needs dependents?

The work I do supports families with special needs dependents, as I am licensed to sell Life and Living Benefits products. Clients can access a wide array of solutions to ensure their special needs dependents are cared for in the event of their death, a critical illness, or an inability to work due to a disability.

What motivated you to become an SNF Ambassador?

My father Rob Baboth motivated me to become a SNF Ambassador. I think him and his company are doing amazing work and it’s integral in protecting people who have special needs dependants!

How do you believe our services can make a difference for the families you refer?

The services that SNF offer are very specialized and serve a very niche market segment of people that not many companies can help. Their services are very streamlined and easy to use and they are experts in the industry and offer the best possible advice to their existing clients and any potential new clients in need of their help.

In what ways do you see us working together to better support these families?

I can see us working together by offering SNF clients a wide array of our great Life & Living Benefits products that we have access to here at Desjardins Insurance! I will be able to customize a specific policy(s) that will not only fufill SNF’s clients’ needs but will be very affordable as well!

What advice would you give to other people and organizations looking to better connect and support special needs families?

The first step would be to reach out directly to SNF or connect with one of their dedicated SNF ambassadors. To truly support and connect with special needs families, it’s important to turn to the experts in the field—and SNF is here to help!
